Match ERP Mobile is business software, not a consumer app. Each company that uses it — a distributor, a wholesaler, a retail chain — runs its own copy of the Match ERP backend, on its own server, under its own domain (for example yourcompany.matchprosys.com). Your employer's system administrator controls that server, decides who on staff can log in, and owns everything stored on it.
Match Systems, the maker of the app, built and maintains the software but does not operate your employer's server and has no standing access to the business data on it. The one thing Match Systems' own infrastructure does see is described in §04.
Every field the app transmits, and where it goes. Nothing outside this table leaves the device.
| Field | Purpose | Sent to |
|---|---|---|
| Business records — entered by you or synced from your employer's catalog | ||
| customer / supplier profiles | manage accounts, pricing, balances | your employer's ERP |
| sales & purchase vouchers | record transactions | your employer's ERP |
| item photos & barcodes | catalog & stock lookup | your employer's ERP |
| Licence & device — sent once at activation, then only to renew | ||
| device_id | bind the licence to one device | Match Systems licence server |
| device_model | support diagnostics | Match Systems licence server |
| os_name / os_version | support diagnostics | Match Systems licence server |
| app_version | enforce minimum supported version | Match Systems licence server |
| On the device only — never transmitted | ||
| login session / API token | stay signed in | device keychain only |
| offline draft vouchers | work with no signal | local database only |
Customer names, phone numbers, prices, stock counts, invoices, payments — everything you'd expect a distribution app to handle — is created by you or your colleagues and stored on your employer's own Match ERP server, the same one their office staff use from a desktop. The mobile app is simply another window onto that one system.
For offline use, a copy of the catalog and any documents you create while offline are cached in an on‑device database. That cache syncs to your employer's server the next time you have a connection and is never sent anywhere else.
To stop a paid licence being copied onto unlimited devices, the app sends a small device fingerprint to Match Systems' own licence‑verification server when you first activate it, and periodically afterwards to confirm the licence is still valid:
Exactly four fields: a device identifier, the device model, the OS name and version, and the app's own version number. No name, no phone number, no location, no contacts.
This data is used solely to enforce the licence your employer purchased and is never shared, sold, or used for advertising.
Scans item barcodes and photographs items you add to the catalog. Photos are attached to that item and uploaded only to your employer's ERP — the app never browses your existing photo library except when you explicitly pick or save an image through the system picker.
Connects to a thermal receipt printer in the same room to print vouchers and reports. This is a direct device‑to‑device link — nothing about the print job travels over the internet.
Android requires the "precise location" permission before an app may scan for nearby Bluetooth devices — a rule Android itself imposes, unrelated to GPS. Match ERP Mobile never reads, stores, or transmits your coordinates.
Used only when you choose to attach an existing photo to an item, or save an exported voucher/report image back to your library. The app cannot browse your photos outside that moment.
Business records follow your employer's own retention policy on their Match ERP server — Match Systems has no independent copy to retain or delete. Licence and device data is kept for as long as the licence is active; write to us at the address below and we'll remove it once the licence ends. Uninstalling the app clears everything stored on the device itself.
Match ERP Mobile is a workplace tool issued by an employer to its staff. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
If what the app collects changes, this page changes with it and the "Effective" date at the top updates. We don't expect that to happen often — the app's data footprint is deliberately small.
Questions about this policy, or a request to delete licence/device data, can go to Match Systems directly:
